Christmas decoration swap

Some time ago I saw Miriam's post about a festive blog swap.......which was a christmas decoration swap.....it sounded like fun......so I signed up.
I had to send my decoration to Miriam herself.....which was a bit nerve wracking.....but I think she liked having one of my little robins.
And then a little package arrived for me from Joy.......containing a lovely crocheted snowflake.....which I've had a lot of trouble photographing......because my tree isn't up yet.....we're a bit later than usual this year as we were away last weekend which is when it would normally go up.........it will look perfect on my tree.

This is, in fact, the perfect decoration for me......because I love crochet.....but have found it impossible to get the hang of doing it......so I could never have made this myself.
Thank you to Joy....and to Miriam for organising the swap.

It's been a lovely swap, this one. I'd be proud to hang both of these on my tree, they're beautiful.
Our tree isn't up yet either - I'm really looking forward to it

A brilliant swap to be a part of and I've really enjoyed seeing everyone's creative efforts pop up around blogland. Both your sent and received items are lovely.

So pleased you liked the snowflake, hope it looks good when you get your tree up - we haven't put ours up yet, either, will be doing it this weekend.

Loved your birds! I thought they were owls at first but can now see they are clearly robins.
I was a bit late sending mine out, and have received a very lovely ornament myself with lots of fun other stuff!
Need to blog about it soon.

Such cute ornaments! I have a group of crocheted ornaments that we hang separately on one of the fake trees we keep in the living room year round - they belonged to my Grandma.

Those birds are just so cute - I've not managed to get the hang of crochet either. Your snowflake looks lovely.
