Six on the 6th

The last of Sarah's 'six on the 6th' challenges for this year.......challenging us to make 6 christmas cards a month........and I've loved completing this challenge every month since the summer.
Partly because I've been a bit 'bleeeeh' about making cards this year......and have made very few.....but did want to make my own christmas cards......and Sarah has inspired me to make a bunch of them every month.
And partly because it's got me making cards in a quicker, easier fashion.....it is a bit of a production line approach.......and I wouldn't do it with birthday cards which need to be far more individual......but I think it's okay for christmas cards.....if I went out and bought a pack then they'd all be the same.....and although each of my batch of 6 is similar......they are not actually identical!
These 6 all started with a fairy topper......and scraps of papers left from previous christmas card making layered up.
They all had a strip of washi tape added [I'm beginning to understand the obsession with washi tape!]
Some green and red flowers.....and a christmas sentiment as the final touch.
I have made a very few individual cards.......but nearly all of this year's christmas cards have been made in response to Sarah's challenge......so thank you very much,Sarah.....I do hope you're going to set this one up again next year.
Here's all 6 of them.

Sarah also owns a lovely online craft supplies shop that you might want to take a look at.
OH and myself are now off for a weekend break to visit Lincoln Christmas market......hope everyone else has a great weekend.

Great variety from a common theme - and how pleased you must be to have made so many so far. I do hope you enjoy the market as a nice reward for your sterling efforts.

So cute! I'm glad you're joining the washi tape obsession - I can't seem to get enough of it lately as it's so easy to add to my cards (plus I got some really cute Christmas tape!).

I hope you had a wonderful time at the market. I saw the Lincoln one on tv the other day and it looked brilliant.

The card challenge was a very clever idea and I have enjoyed seeing how it has inspired you this year.

These are very cute! I finally broke down and bought a new stamp set that comes with card blanks as well. I might make a few quick cards if it arrives soon enough.

Lovely, isn't it great to use up scraps like that? Those squares look so festive.

I've just managed to make some cards - I'm hoping they do this challenge again next year :)
