I've got a bit behind with this class........and I've only been doing it 'part-time'.......no album.....just blogging........but I love having a permanent record on my blog......and I've loved seeing other class mates' albums developing.
I also loved the comment Pinky [who isn't taking the class] left a couple of days ago......that she'd learned not to wear a pink t shirt when making tomato soup!!!! Reminded me of a lesson I should have learned!!
So......in no particular order..... a final roundup of some lessons I've learned over the past few days.
1. that it is lovely to have a last minute lunch with my brother....we need to meet more often.
2. that what seems like just a cold, can develop into something worse, and make you feel really poorly.
3. that just a few bits of new stash can be inspiring.
4. that blog friends really are such lovely people [thank you again, Deb]
5. that a real fire on a chilly evening is wonderful
6. that everyone in the house likes homemade lemon cake.
7. that an hour spent weeding....is an hour well spent.
8. that we'll be having our family christmas dinner on christmas eve again.....at our local carvery.....yum!
9. how nice it is that OH phoned 2 or 3 times a day just to check I was ok while I've been poorly.
10. that when OH has a couple of days off work.....we get lots done working together.
11. that when a particular co-ordinator at work......is not there......everything works far more efficiently.
12. that DD1 can cook a very nice corned beef hash.
13. that I've decided how I'm going to do my JYC album this year.

Great lessons Jackey, Cant wait to see what you are doing for your JYC. Hope you feel better soon x
There is nothing I like better than a nice corned beef hash! I think I remember reading about your carvery dinner last year - and that makes me think about how close to a year it is since we started the blogging class and here we all are, still enjoying the friendships :)
I haven't done the LSNED class, but I've really enjoyed reading your posts (and a few other blog friends who have posted as well). I'm going to be sad to see it end! :o)
Hope you're feeling better. You definitely have a jump on Christmas. Cards and now the JYC decision. Must admit I haven't given it much thought yet, but suppose I should. Thanks for the reminder.
I'm having a senior moment and have to confess to not knowing what JYC stands for!?
I've enjoyed reading about yur LSNED journey, you've made it very interesting. I certainly agree with you about blog friends too.
Christmas Eve at a local carvery sounds PERFECT too - ENJOY
Hope you will soon be feeling better too.

HI jacky..
I too have enjoyed the 'I have learned' posts...I think you should continue to do them and I might join in...My first one inspired by you....
I have learned that unless you get your camera downloaded before you get to 1136 photos ..you can't do any scrapbooking!
Newe York, Disneyland Paris last year and Hubbys 40th birthday photos all at the printers....YAY!
I also made my JYC decision - I'm going hipstamatic this year!

Love what you have learned Jacky and have so enjoyed reading them. Have been ohing and ahing (they don't look right but I'm sure you know what I mean) at some of your comments, yummy Christmas dinner at the carvery again, You are so organised!!
Pinky
I like the idea of Christmas dinner at the carvery on Christmas eve - so much less hassle!
I was also interested to see that you've already decided how to do your JYC - I wish I was half as organised as you ;o) I'm thinking this year is one I should try and document Christmas with my first grandchild in the house :o) xx
Jacky I've really liked seeing your LSNED observances here and I'm so sorry you have been feeling so unwell - I hope that things take a turn for the better soon :-)
Love what you have learned Jacky, and hope that you are feeling better soon x
I've loved reading your posts and I so relate to number 4 ans I'm VERY impressed with tha fact you decided on how you're going to do your JYC this year.
I'd like to thank you for all the lovely comments you've left on my blog, the comments have been much appreciated and gave me impetus to continue September was quite a tough month for me in many ways. Thank you xx
Thanks for filling me on JYC - I reckon you might be right about me loving it! You are also quite correct, we leave on Tuesday, meeting up with Wynneth and Karen whilst there too - that'll be a laugh, I reckon! Can't get Paper Artsy there though!
Kathyk
I'm loving your lessons learned!!
You did it! Good for you :-) Sorry about #2, but #9 is lovely; #11 is interesting....; #13 is intriguing! Can't wait to hear more :-)
Love your lessons learned. Sorry to hear you have been poorly, hope you are soon feeling better. Glad to hear that you will be doing JYC - I have already bought my paper and have a rough idea of what I will be doing too!
