Craft Barn Extravaganza

Yesterday I went to The Craft Barn Extravaganza........23 wonderful demonstrators including Suze Weinberg with the melt pot
and Linda and Leandra demonstrating some inspiring stuff with Paperartsy stamps

I didn't get many photos as it was so full of people........and I was too engrossed in watching demonstrations!!!!!
I have never seen the shop so crowded......mega queues for the tills.......plus full to the rafters with crafty goodness!!

I've been pretty thrifty with craft spending this year........so couldn't resist a few goodies jumping in my basket.....even if I did have to queue for about 20 minutes to pay for them.

Went for some 'non-cute' stamps from Paperartsy and Crafty Individuals.........so look out for some 'out of my comfort zone' creations inspired by some of the demos.........a few more copics..............distress ink, crackle paint and some embossing folders by Lord Tim ...........some gorgeous patina acrylic paint [as used by Lin and Leandra].......and some frames for altering.
And was there a perfect end to a perfect day........sadly not.......as my always reliable little car decided to throw a hissy fit.........possibly caused by the clutch........or could be the gear box.....so thank goodness for breakdown cover.......and the nice young man from the RAC who brought us home!!

And worse was to come, of course, with the England goalkeeper deciding to score for the Yanks........the rest of my family was not in the slightest bit amused.......no sense of humour at all!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing what you do with all your new goodies! I'm liking the look of those 3 hanging frames.
Hope the car isn't too expensive to fix.
As for the football... what can we say?!

Looks like you had a super day - except for the car episode - and you certainly look to have acquired some FABULOUS stash as well as a photo of the wondrous and talented SUZE (where was The Lenster?) and I am now consumed with curiousity regarding the patina paint??????? Do tell. Hope your car fix doesn't prove too expensive.

I looked at those stamps and thought, "those aren't typically Jacky." Hmmm. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Oh dear, things went from bad to worse at the end of the day!

We've just had a non-surprising walloping at the hands of the Germans this morning ... not a good start, but not unexpected!
