Sunday morning in the summer you can find me at boot sales..........I love them.......and often get a bargain........like this note pad holder.........50p.........unused, but a bit grubby and a mark from where the price tag was removed [why do shops put on labels that do that??].....but I thought if 'improved' it would be a perfect little gift for a friend who, like me, is a list making fiend!!
I used 2 sheets of 12 x 12 paper left over from a scrapbooking pack [can't remember the company] to cover it.......on the front I used a McGill branch punch and Magnolia flowers [from my blog candy!!] stuck on with silicone glue.......the sentiment is a Penny Black one that I love.....distressed with Pine Distress Ink Pad.....hope she likes it.
Finally the snow has come.......only a smattering........but it's started again.....so am glad I got the final bits of my xmas shopping done today......only food left to buy now.
