The 5th video in 'Return to the Collection' was making a double page spread.....but making it look like it was one 12 x 24 page.
I do sometimes make double page layouts......especially in holiday albums......though I've never tried to make them look like one page......so this challenge worked well for me....except....the collection I was using was almost finished [the collection Shimelle used had 2 of each design, but mine only had 1]......and the papers left just wouldn't make a page I'd like.....so I cheated.....I dug out a small MME collection pack and used that.....in fact I've used it for some more double pages and almost finished it now!
We've visited Barcelona before.....and on this visit decided to spend time looking at some of the wonderful buildings in the centre......and wandering amongst all the stalls on Las Ramblas.....so I decided to make this a buildings layout.....and the colours of this paper collection were perfect.
You can see a Gaudi building hiding in the top page.....apparently Barcelona City Council were not at all happy when it was built....as it broke umpteen city by-laws.
Shimelle added a lot of embellishment to her pages.....but I mainly stuck to layered circles again.....and I couldn't resist more of the chevron punch......I think this may be a feature of this album.
I'm still pondering on the journaling so I'll have to add that later.
And the two pages together.

Love seeing what you made for the class! I took it and made some pages too, really need to get around to sharing them!

I love that punch and the layouts, you're way ahead of me.

I think having a common element like the chevrons going throughout the album works really well!

Jacky, these pages simply jump off the screen for me - I love your choice of paper and elements, they really look great.

Great photos & your layout looks fabulous! Seeing all your layouts with the chevron punch lately, I just had to pull mine out today for a layout! I'm working on a blog post with it now! Thanks for the inspiration!

Love this so much - both sides work so well together

I like double pages using different backgrounds for the two halves. These papers complement your photos perfectly.

This is lovely Jacky, I'm going to sign up for this as I did the first one and like the thought of another one - thanks for inspiring me xxx

Love this double page layout. I am still working my way through each of the classes, but am enjoying doing them.

More lovely layouts! I've not done a double layout for some time, you might be inspiring me to do one!
