Lili of the Valley A5 pads

In my last post I blogged these cards and had some questions in the comments about the images.
They are not stamps.....although LOTV do make these images as unmounted stamps  [and I do have some of their stamps]......they come from an A5 paper pad that contains 30 sheets of 10 different images. The images are already coloured....but I did also add some aqua colouring to them as well.I also cut down the paper size as I didn't want A5 size.
Sometime before Christmas LOTV were doing a special offer.....I can't remember if it was 20% off....or 'buy 2,get 1 free'.......but I decided to treat myself to 3 pads.
a girly pad
 a vintage boys pad
and a christmas pad
I'm so glad that I did.......they are high quality card.......beautifully printed......and make cardmaking so much quicker.........you may think it's cheating.......not stamping and colouring yourself............but colouring takes a lot of skill.....is time consuming.......and I don't personally find it that enjoyable......to me the creative and fun part of making the card is designing and putting it altogether.....so I love having discovered these pads.
LOTV is a British company.....and as far as I'm aware you can only buy their stamps, pads and papers direct from them ....their products are high quality, reasonably priced and their service is excellent.I highly recommend them.
They also have a blog full of inspiring ideas.

And what splendid cards you made from them too - I think creativity comes in many forms and you KNOW I'm a great admirer of your layering co-ordination so, no cheating from my point of view!

Thank you for letting us into the details - and the charm of the cards is not so much in the images themselves, but what you do with them :).

Thanks, Jacky. I love the cover of the Little Boy pad. No way that is cheating! I do enjoy coloring, but it's very time consuming, and often fraught with errors and redoing, so I think this is an awesome alternative. I've never seen anything in the U.S. like this.

I love LOTV products too, and small pads of paper are a great way to make co ordinating sets of cards! (Just catching up on your blog and loved the scrapbook Christmas pages and the Christmas markets!)

Definitely not cheating! And your style shines through in the cards you made with the images, whether your colored them or not.
