Six cards on the sixth

I'm joining in with Sarah's six cards on the sixth challenge again this month......hoping to get a few more christmas cards in the bag!
I don't do decoupage.....even though I love layering......there's too much precision cutting which I'm c**p at.......it takes too much patience which I'm c**p at......and requires too much fiddly layering which I'm c**p at!
Having said that.....I found some cute decoupage bears in my stash.....a freebie from a magazine......and DD1 and I had some saved TV programmes to catch up on [Ray Donovan....a bit weird....but we keep watching....anyone else do that?]....so I decided to cut and stick while I was watching.....and I soon remembered why I don't do decoupage!
But the bears did look cute once they were rather imprecisely cut and layered up on the little piece of backing paper that came with each one.
I then used a snowflake embossing folder on white card.
Found lots of pieces of blue card.....all from my scraps box which is why there is such a mixture of blues.
All the decorative papers at the back of the card were from an old Dovecraft pad.....virtually finished now.
One punched snowflake added to each card.......and finished off with a sentiment.
They look like this
I don't think I'll be taking up decoupage anytime soon.......but I do like the finished cards......and that's 18 christmas cards made now....thanks to Sarah's challenge......why don't you join in here.
Some more challenges.....Created with Love want 'any holiday'.....Crafty Cardmakers want 'cute and furry'.......and Crimbo Crackers want 'embossing'

You make me laugh ... I am c**p at those same things!

Thanks for the clock suggestion ... have tried it - to no avail. Seems she wants the human presence, though, she's had a good day today and seems to be settling - I say that like she's a mad thing, nothing could be further from the truth, she's a very gentle puppy with a fondness for company!

I feel your pain!!!! LOL. I am not a fan of decoupage either, even if it's ready cut for me, but these are all gorgeous and worth your effort.

Thanks for sharing them with us

You are so organised Jacky! The bears are very sweet and I did have a chuckle when you mentioned how fiddly it is!

What a cute set of cards! I have not one card made for Christmas and I'm not sure what I'm going to do about it.

I think I will actually make some Christmas cards today, thanks for inspiring me!

This post made me laugh! I know exactly what you mean about certain techniques that are just too fiddly for me. I try to box them up and give them away so that I'm not even tempted by them.
Cute cards though!

Your post made me smile! And I love your cards, I love blue snowy cards for Christmas, they are one of my favourite things. The embossed snowflakes work especially well!

Made me laugh Jacky. I don't do decoupage for the same reason - far too time taking but well done for your achievement!

These turned out lovely & I like the fact that you used up lots of blue scraps, too. I think I have 34 Christmas cards completed, so probably halfway to what I need for this year!
