Christmas Journaled!

A final catch up [completion] of my JYC.......the 3 days of Christmas documented.
We always have christmas stockings in our house......all of us.....opening lots of little gifts.....some fun and some useful and some just pretty.......is one of the best parts of Christmas according to my 2 girls......I tend to agree with them.
This year I made stockings for the 2 'little ones' coming on Christmas Day.......an extra gift from Santa in them.

The 2 pages for Christmas Day are mainly a series of photos documenting different parts of the day......and who was there. I may make a 12 x 12 page for my 2012 album with more journaling on it
On Boxing Day Little A spent most of her time going in and out of the conservatory opening and closing the doors.......totally engrossed in her play......so why do we spend so much money on toys they don't need!!!!
I had to include the family portrait.......taken for my MIL by DD2's boyfriend.......but I love how it turned out......and it's rare indeed that I like photos with me in them......and as I was given a lovely frame for christmas.......I think this one may end up on the wall.
I decided to end this year's journal with Boxing Day.....it doesn't have as many pages as last year's.......but I'm happy that it includes everything that I want.
Did you make a record of December this last year? Have you managed to finish it?

That family portrait really is lovely! (and so is the rest..). I had been fully intending to do a December Daily this year because it was TTO's last Christmas at school, but it just didn't happen

Sadly December passed without any record this year, Jacky. I had too much else happening in my life.
There is always THIS December!!
Love your family portrait. And some lovely pages to look back on. Good on you!!

I like all of your layouts. We also have stockings and enjoy all the small presents in them. The Boxing Day photo is wonderful.

I LOVE the family portrait, definitely one to frame! I didn't do a journal this year, it doesn't seem we even took very many pictures. Yours is perfect having everything you want included.

I am so jealous of your talent for getting your pages made up so quickly Jacky. Lovely bit of story telling and the final page is just brilliant, a real keepsake.

Lovely to see yours finished. If I do one again next year I might end on Boxing Day as nothing much happens after that for us as I have to go back to work! Mine is finished, just need to finish posting the photos.

Congrats on completing your project. I had my December digital pages printed & they arrived a few days ago, so I just need to get them together in a little album.
