Journal Your Christmas 7- a handmade christmas

I wanted to document in my album that I'd made far more handmade items for our christmas this year.....I always make cards and a lot of home cooked food......but this year I've made quite a few stitched items as well......and hopefully next year there will be even more. I've particularly enjoyed sitting stitching in the evenings......and want to make this a permanent habit.
Sadly.......taking Cheryl's '12 Days of Christmas' photography class has not improved my photography skills......especially when taking indoor evening photos.....not that the light is much better in the day right now.
And I certainly hope that it's a lot drier wherever you are!!

You certainly have been busy Jacky, these all look fantastic. Time put to good use I'd say.

That's a great idea to log your achievements - and a pretty page to show them off :). Oh, sitting by the fire and stitching - that sounds very cosy!

Jackie - those photos are fine - CJ's 12 Days is all about practice (most of which gets done after Xmas).

Have a great Christmas - and I'll *see* you in March!

There's a time for putting new techniques into practice and a time for just getting those memories recorded! Far better a slightly less than perfect photo than none at all because you didn't have time to change all the dials and settings!
Have a good Christmas x

ONe of the best things about JYC is how it helps you note and remember these things.
