Monthly Make-Street Party bunting

It's time to join in with The Felt Fairy's Monthly Make..........but there's not been much making going on here this month......a bit of a 'life has taken over' month.....with OH being very poorly with a chest infection.....all the finishing off bits to do in the new kitchen.....the rooms that became 'storage' areas while the kitchen was being done to be cleared and sorted [we can finally use our conservatory again]........lots of prepping for new courses I'm teaching next term.....and a massive amount to do in the garden which has gone wild with the combination of rain and sun.
Oh......and we've been preparing for a Street Party this weekend.....and all the houses are putting up bunting......so I couldn't resist using up some scraps and making my own......which is laminated due to the 'quirkiness' of the British weather.
We just need to actually get it hung up now!!!!

Sometimes things get a little crazy don't they? I hope your OH is well on the road to recovery and that you have fabulous weather to show off that gorgeous bunting!

That sounds like a lot of fun! I just posted my "monthly make" - my week in the life album (which is in a handmade mini album).

Fabulous makes and a great idea to laminate them against the weather. Good to hear the kitchen makeover is nearing completion and here's hoping hubby makes a speedy recovery too

Happy Thursday

Hello Jacky,
I hope hubby is feeling much better soon...chest infections really are such nasty things!
The weather is crazy at the moment, isn't it? We have had so much rain today after the lovely sunny weather so it's such a good idea to laminate your lovely bunting!
Hope you have a wonderful Jubilee weekend,
Susan x

Hi Jacky ~ Oh how I have missed my regular visits over here at your blog! You sound like me with "life taking over" - I am really craving some serious craft time!

Your banner is adorable, and it's fun for me to see your British flag in the mix. I'm wondering about the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Is that an annual event?

The flower show photos are so pretty, and that little grand-daughter of yours? Oh my gosh, Jacky, she just keeeps getting cuter and cuter. :o) ♥

Your bunting looks lovely. With weather as unpredictable as ours it is a good thought to laminate it. Have a great street party, Jacky, & hope your OH is on the mend.
