Dainty and delicate - Papertrey Ink

I've long admired the beautiful Papertrey Ink cards on Karen and Steph's blogs.......but it isn't sold in the UK....and the shipping charges are exorbitant.....so I was delighted to win a Papertrey Ink stamp giveaway on Karen's blog.......the stamp set was just beautiful........and arrived with some flowers and a gorgeous tag.....thank you Karen.
But......it was so dainty and delicate......I was nervous of using it........and it's so different to my usual stamps that I wasn't quite sure what to do with it either!!!! So after playing for awhile.....I decided my first attempt would be a bit of a tentative addition to a card!!!
So I've used it to add some stems and the sentiment to this 'Sweet Pea' card.
I might now try a card purely using the stamps in the set.....with 22 stamps......there's certainly quite a few of them.

That looks lovely. I have some similar flower stamps like that and I hadn't thought of adding the different flowers to the stalks. Another great card.

I've also love the Papertray Ink stamps and thought you might be about to say you'd found someone who sells them in the UK. Congrats on winning them and I look forward to seeing more cards using them xxx

How lovely, Jacky! I've just had a very fun catch-up on your blog. You have been a busy scrapper! As always, I loved seeing all of your beautiful crafty goodness!

So happy that you won the fun stuff from Karen as you have put it to good use. Don't you love those little Prima flowers too? This reminds me that I have a bunch of them stuck away...need to pull those out!

Have a great weekend! xo

What an interesting post - I hadn't thought about how different your card style was from Karen's card style until now. I bet those stamps will unleash a whole new side of your creativity!
