10 on the 10th.....a little bit of spring

This is my post for Shimelle's 10 things on the 10th.......see more here.
With Spring seeming to be arriving here......I spent yesterday afternoon in the garden......so here's 10 little peeks of Spring in my garden.
The sedums are pushing their way through the leaves
The day lily foliage has shot up
An early ladybird laying on the saxifrage
The poppy foliage is growing by the day
There are little clumps of daffs scattered around the garden
The clematis are coming back to life
There are buds all over the blackcurrant bushes
The aubretia is spreading over the rockery
The camellia is in glorious flower
The potted tulips are emerging
Hope you have a lovely day wherever you are.

Our days are starting to shorten and the nights are cooler, but Autumn has yet to make any real appearance. Your gardern looks ready to shoot and bloom for a beautiful summer!

I love all these signs of Spring Jacky...lovely pics! I had not even realised it is the 10th today, so unless I can think of something quickly, I think I'll be giving it a miss this month

Spring has sprung in your garden hasn't it? How's the grass? We're afraid of what our grass will look like when we get back!

Happy Saturday

Lovely!!! By the 10th of April I might be able to do the same. Still snowing here today, but the temps are supposed to go back up soon.

Lovely photos! How fun to have nature coming up all around you. I noticed the green from my lilies popping up the other day and the tulips are coming up too. Spring really is coming! :)

Everything's definitely waking up, isn't it? We've had such a mild winter that everyone is worried about drought.

How very lovely - and it's easy to tell that you are further South than us! Our signs of Spring aren't so advanced. I love the Ladybird pic especially, and that gorgeous blue paint

It's lovely to see Spring is on it's way in your garden. I've got daffs, but they're not as healthy as yours (I think it has something to do with next doors dog weeing on them!)
