But I saw this card on Pinterest.......and really liked it.......and thought I'd have go......and despite the fact that simple always seems to turn into 'a lot more complicated' whenever I do try it [why is that???]......I'm quite pleased with the end result.
Which made me decide to make something fairly similar......though I'm not so happy with how the sentiment has stamped on this second one......which is why I rarely stamp directly onto cards!!!
But I'm liking kraft more and more.

It's fun to see you going out of the box and creating some sweet and simple cards on kraft cardstock, Jacky. These are lovely - and I just love anything with baker's twine on it these days! I used it on my cards this year too. :o)
They are "simple" by your standards, but still a lot happening there and I think they are lovely! So nice to see what happens when you step outside your comfort zone!
these are fab, love the string you have used on the first one xx
Ooh...lovely work Jacky...there is nothing prettier than a single snowflake...
Hope you have a great weekend,

Ha, I never stamp directly onto card either because I can never get it straight! I think it looks fine though! Great stuff!
Beautiful! I also really like the first one best. I think you can rock any style really.

These cards are lovely - I especially love the twine around the top one and the pink polka. So pretty!
Definitely embrace the kraft. It's the business :D
Kraft is just so versatile and I love both of the cards!
CAS is very tricky, I used to get so frustrated, you have to really think about design to have any hope of getting it right - it's about space and proportions ... and you have done an absolutely EXCELLENT job here!
Lovely cards! Don't know why you don't like the second one. I can't see a darn thing wrong with the stamping.
Oh, I just love both of them! I think I'll need to CASE that first one.
Well, look at that! You really can make any kind of card
Oh how lovely, both are wonderful
