Short term goals......and a giveaway

I blogged here about my short term goals for the Easter break..........this break from work did not turn out as planned..........and keeping busy turned out to be a good thing...........so how did I do??
1. Had a major sort out of craft area.......my shelves are no longer overflowing..........I can now actually get to my baskets......have culled some of my stash [more of this later].......and even put up shelves for my [now named] ink pads!!!
There is even a little space on the shelves!!!!
2. Gardening........the British weather did not play fair.......it frequently rains in the UK......it mainly rains in the UK......especially in April........it was sunny [even hot] for 4 weeks.......and the rain emigrated......perhaps you have it........but our heavy clay soil was so hard you could make pots out of it.....perhaps I should invest in a kiln instead........certainly you couldn't put plants in it!!
But I have got all my seeds planted in trays.......and my baby plants re-potted.......a very enjoyable job out in the sun......done at my new potting table. I visited nurseries and have some new plants ready to go.

The acer and ferns have exploded in the sun.

The baby cherry tree and shrubs are covered in blossom and flowers.......so I'm definately not moaning about the sun!! And Saturday night it poured with rain......yep......in the night.....perfect!!

3. The wonderful She Art videos nearly all watched.......and I can't wait to get started on Christy's new class later this month.
4. The conservatory still needs a bit of sorting/finishing.......but almost there......so haven't done too badly.
Earlier I mentioned I'd 'culled' some of my stash........I even Ebayed some stuff.........but I'd also like to share some........a little surprise package of bits and pieces....suitable for scrapbooking, cardmaking and multi media.......I'd like to send it to one of you lovely people who mean so much by supporting me,my blog and my creative attempts.
You don't need to be a follower to join in.......but you do need to be someone who visits and at least occasionally comments.........leave a comment on this post......and I'll randomly draw a winner on  May 6th........and I'm happy to post anywhere.

I am so impressed with all that you have managed to get done. I wished I had used my time so well but alas, as always, I spent far too much time on the internet and far to little time on the jobs I needed to get done.

wowsers you have been hard at work! It all looks great! We have been busy the past three days in our garden at the front of the house, so much work but so worth it. Keep it up and thanks for the inspiration!

Kudos Jacky - you got SOOOO much done! And the craft area/stamps looks great! Now that you've watched most of the SheArt videos, what are you making? I have ideas in my head, but nothing in the works yet.

Wow! You have been putting in the hours. Your craft room and your garden are both going to be blooming. I managed to clear some crafting clutter today, but the garden still needs a bit of work..

My you really have been busy! Jacky your garden is looking lovely - the colours are beautiful :-)

We are in a massive year of decluttering, after having the house mostly in boxes for 10 months, so far, it is amazing what you can do without, I am being ruthless when it comes to unpacking ... not that there is much of that going on yet!

Wow! That is a productive holiday weekend! Your garden is lovely. I wish I had a place to grow things. I have six large houseplants meant to clean the air of my apartment - I can barely keep those alive. Clearly you have a green thumb! And I'm jealous of those wonderful baskets. It's hard to find solid baskets like those with lids - I've looked with not much luck.

Wow, looks like you really made the most of the long weekends!
I have still not reached the point where I can happily take a picture of my new scrapbooking space after I moved everything so I am very impressed at your achievements!

I am totally impressed with the amount of plants you have potted! That's what I'm going to do today.

I am not commenting to be eligible for your goodies because I am totally digital. However, whoever does receive your package of goodies will surely love it because you do beautiful work.

OMG Jacky you put me to shame. How organised are you woman!! Looking at all those little seedlings reminds me of my Mum who used to love doing this too. When are you coming to organise me???

Tracy said...

I seriously need to sort out my stash too, not necessarily throw things out, but when I use them I very rarely put things back where they belong. I love your dresser.

Well done on all your hard work - I only just managed to plant some seeds.

Your satsh is looking so neat...well done you & I bet it feels good too!! :)
