I get up in the morning......eat my breakfast......dash outside for a quick wee......and then off to the conservatory to find the sun......if the silly woman hasn't opened the doors yet.......my 'baby being murdered' screams soon bring one of the people running......and then to settle in my spot in the sun.......and the hotter it is in there the better........why the people think the doors should be open to let the heat out,I don't know........and why on earth I would want to go outside when it's hotter in here, I don't know either........but they just keep saying "go outside,Stella"
But then in the middle of the day the sun moves.......why the heck does it do that day after day........it's sooooo inconvenient.......making me move from my lovely, comfy spot.......and go and lay by the back door......definately not the comfiest of spots.......but it is the hottest.......and then the people keep telling me to move so that they can get outside.....don't they know we have other doors out of this house???
But then it moves again.......round to the front of the house.......so it's time to sneak onto the bed........as quietly as possible.........and because I'm only small......... there's just about enough sun to cover me, thank goodness.
But then early evening it moves again........apparently to a whole different country.......because there's no sun here at all for hours and hours.......sometimes even days.......what's that all about???!!!!!!
So then I just have to go and find somewhere as warm as possible........though it's never as good without the sun.
Now it's just a case of persuading the people I need to go live in a warmer climate.......maybe I should go and join Amy in Australia.......I hear she's got a lovely new kitchen.......not to mention a nice doggie friend for me........especially now Chester's getting a bit old and grouchy.......and, of course, a lot more sun than here!!

Miss Bronte in Australia is nodding in agreement, she prefers to sit in front of the tin shed facing the northern sun - even on days that are over 30C and with a full long coat of hair ..... and then she saunters down, panting ridiculously looking for her water bowls!
Stella, it's delightful to meet you! I love your humour and especially your comment about the sun having moved to a whole different country - wonderfully put!
Stella, what an excellent guest blogger you make! You had me stretching and relaxing in the sun there right with you. In fact, I can feel a little snooze coming on..
Thank you for joining Storytelling Sunday in a new way Jacky :)
Great story telling Stella! Will you be blogging again I wonder???
Cloud would certainly agree with everything you said, Stella. She also moves around throughout the day chasing the sun :) it would be so much easier if the sun stayed still, wouldn't it!
Cute way to tell the story Jacky! :)
xx
So fun! i really enjoyed reading Stella's post. I think she would like it very much in Dubai (except that the sun leaves before 7pm every day of the year!). Does she like Hamsters? scrappysue
Stella, may the sun shine just for you today. Your story has given me a whole new perspective on how and why our cats choose their stopping places!
Maybe you should come visit Boo in Spain Stella...love this Jacky!

Great story Stella!
I love your sweet story, Stella. I also agree about the sun--it's so nice and warm and just laying about in it is delightful. You are one smart little doggie.
Stella should have her own blog! Great story of Stella's day, Jacky
Happy (and sunny) Sunday to you
Kathyk
Love it Stella. Jacky you've got one smart pup there. Hope the sun is shining for her today.
Stella I have to agree that hanging out in the sun is the best! Thanks so much for sharing!
Stella your humans have no idea of the stress you put yourself through everyday!
Love this post Jacky xx
we dont really get the sun in my flat cos it faces the wrong way but willow tends to follow it around the car park. holly is getting older and either stays next to me on the sofa or migrates to my bed.

Hi Stella - what is it with you dogs and sunshine? As I type this I can see Kiera lounging in a patch of sunshine that she will follow around the garden until it finally goes!
Loved this post Jacky xxx
Brilliant story Stella, you would get on well with my Pepsi! She may even allow you to come into 'her greenhouse' in the afternoon when the sun is between windows here!
Brilliant! made me laugh so much - thank you Stella! J x
Ha! A great take on the story telling:)
You know what Stella, I think I should have been born a dog, I'd be right out there with you chasing that sun around the house all day! What a lovely guest post!
Brava Stella! How nice to see a different point of view on story telling Sunday. My dog, Gypsy, also follows the sun and enjoys laying on the sunwarmed deck when we go outside.

Brilliant, I just love your story telling Stella! :)
Lol I enjoyed that Jacky.
LOL Stella - you blog a good post! I'd offer to take you with me next time I travel to Australia, but I might forget to pack your collar ;o)
I totally agree, as much sun exposure as possible makes me happy too. I feel this way even more since I moved from sunny California to not so sunny PA. My pup Copper loves laying in the sun too!
awwwww Stella, I'm so with you but now it is warming and the sun isn't moving as much here. Come on to Mid MI for the summer and you'll love it, bring your Mommy for a vacation too!
LOL! this is just too cute!
haha...What an adorable story to share this time around, Jacky. I love it! And it's so nice to meet Stella! :o)
Dear Stella, I hear you might like to visit and join us in the Dubai sunshine. Only trouble is we sleep for most of the day, so you would have to be entertained by the mad woman who doesn't speak hamster. You will see that we are friends and not dinner. Love Fluffy and Snowy X
That Stella, she's a bright one - must be all that sun.
