Mother's Day is almost here

Today's card is about as far removed from yesterday's canvas as is possible....opposite ends of the spectrum, me thinks!!!!
It's even a bit of a different card for me......no cute images at all......I was inspired by a card I saw in Simply Cards magazine.......and as the magazine was giving away the Craftwork Cards papers....I've used them as well.
This Sunday is Mother's Day in the UK......I know different countries have different dates.....ours is a moveable feast.......somehow connected to Easter......which is incredibly late this year.......and I can't remember the last time Mother's Day was in April.......the card is for my MIL who loves flowers.
The flowers are made from 4 different sized punched circles.......some of my circles were scalloped edge punches........but plain would be just as good........the circles were then scrunched up......very distressing for them.......the largest 3 were glued together......the smallest I added with a foam square.......then some card candy on the top.....and popped onto the card with some punched leaves.
I so enjoyed making the flowers.......I've started on a birthday card with all the extras I made.......think they would be great for scrapbook pages as well.
I've probably mentioned that white space tends to make me twitchy........I did think about 'filling' it.......but slapped my wrist and left it alone.....a good decision, I think!
And with it being Mothers Day....there's a few 'mum' challenges out there.....
