First card of the year.

It's so long since I've made a card that wasn't a christmas card........I think I may have forgotten how to........so this one could actually be a christmas card........but pretty apt for the weather that once more seems to be sweeping the country.
I rarely make 'male' cards.....I find them difficult.......so that's a skill I want to develop.......but I do love this cute Edwin.....perfect for christmas and winter birthdays.
4 wintery background papers.......Edwin coloured with copics and layered onto a circle....... finished with a couple of snowflakes and a computer written sentiment.
Ladybugs Craft,Papertake Weekly and Just Magnolia say 'anything goes'......Crazy4Challenges says 'celebrate something'.

It has the winter elements, but is decidedly a birthday card! I think you still have the knack to create any kind of card!

I love this; the details on your cards is amazing. I love the scalloped card, the snowflakes, the circle behind the stamped image--just great!

I so agree about making 'male' cards...what is it that's so difficult!? I end up using darker, more muted colours but though they're ok, I never think they're as satisfying (creatively) as a girly card!

Yours is the sweetest thing and you're right, it could double up as a Christmas card too. Love the scalloped circle!

Male cards are quite the struggle, but I love the stamping on this one, your shading is wonderful. I also like your word for the year, good luck with it! Happy New Year!

But you're so good at Christmas cards! And cards, generally... This is lovely :-)

I think we all struggle with 'male' cards - my papercrafts class has asked me to do a class on them, and I'm stuck!!

It's gorgeous Jacky, I'm never sure about Male cards either. Any cards I do make normally end up quite girly and too pretty for the very masculine men I know! :)
