Back to the 'altering'!!!!!

DD1 was not impressed by my comments on the last 'make over' post........and so the 'altering' continues!!!! She appeared with a battered, old box.....and said
"I was going to throw this away, but need a box to keep my nail bits in, can you do something with it?"
My first thought was to say........."I can put it in the recycle bin" ........but thought better of it!!!!
So after a couple of coats of paint.........out came the K & Co papers again......used some brown card....and then layered on the papers......on all sides....including the sides of the lid.

Kept the embellishments to a minimum again....and firmly stuck them on with silicone glue......hope that'll keep the flowers in place.
And hope that's the last bit of altering for now!!!!!!!

Considering what a beautiful job you do, if I was DD I'd be marching something new down to you on a daily basis! I don't think your comments are going to slow her down a bit.

You have done a marvellous makeover on that old box - careful, if you're too good then the projects will start rolling in from her friends!!!!

It's simply smashing

LOve this! The colors are perfect and give a little hardware feel to the "nails" idea.

Wow - I didn't think much of the original box (I'd have thought 'recycle bin' too!) but you've turned it into a thing of beauty :-)
