Welcome to December.....Welcome to Journal Your Christmas

Welcome to December......welcome to JYC.......welcome to a world of white.
Someone up there thinks it very funny to dump a ton of the white stuff on the whole of the UK.........at the busiest time of the year........and throw in some sub zero temperatures as well....thanks a lot!! And our garden is a hell of a lot whiter now than it was when the photo was taken first thing this morning.........the only one in our house enjoying it is Chester....... who tears madly around like a demented puppy in it.

But more importantly it's the start of Shimelle's Journal Your Christmas class........a month long class to document December/Christmas any way you like.......with daily prompts and inspiration....and it's not too late to join in.
This is my 3rd year doing it.....the last 2 I ended up with amazingly fat 8 x 8 albums.......I love them.......but wanted to do something different this year........so......a small 8 x 5ish shaped album.......it's going to be simple.....and definately not stuffed with embellishments......which will be a novelty for me!!!
The bidcage and small snowflake were gold embossed.........parts of the cover and the large snowflake were glimmer misted.......I don't think the photo does it justice.....and despite Shimelle giving us a lovely downloadable manifesto to put in the front.........mine is going to simply be
'release your christmas spirit'

Right now I feel so overwhelmed, my motto would have to be more along the lines of "Find Your Christmas Spirit"! Lovely cover - can't wait to see what kind of pages you create.

LOVE the "Release your Christmas Spirit" combined with Santa in a bird cage. You make me smile, Jacky.

And OH MY your place looks cold!!! I'm such a desert rat - I'd freeze to death there. xo

Journalling Christmas sounds like a great idea. Your garden looks so lovely under all that snow but I bet it's hard to get about in - take care out there

"Release Your Christmas Spirit"..love it! As for the snow and sub freezing temps, it looks beautiful out your window but I am quite happy to be looking at snow on the monitor and not out the window :)

Jacky, your cover looks great and I like the Release Your Christmas Spirit. While you've had snow, we are having rain. I didn't realize we had a swimming pool in our backyard, but there it is! The rain is coming so fast and furious it doesn't have time to sink into the ground; thus, our new swimming pool. I am already overwhelmed! Some how I managed to sign up for three different classes (Shimelle's JYC is one of them.) Honestly, I did not realize they would all be at the same time--just wasn't paying attention.

Love your manifesto. I actually think it's boring if everyone has the same manifesto. And fab pix of your garden.

Love your manifesto and your cover. I'm looking forward to taking part in this again - my fourth year! I intend to make mine a little thinner this year too, try not to over embellish lol! Wish this blinking snow would go though!

I love the sentiment 'release your christmas spirit' as it sums up December for me. I love Xmas & refuse to let it be spoiled by the constant xmas songs we have to play all day in our shop :(( lol

I love your manifesto. I was lazy and used Shimelle's--though I must say I like it, but yours is better. I like it nice and simple.
