I love presents.......I love making and buying them all year......whenever I see something I'm sure someone will love.......I love giving presents.......I love receiving presents.....especially unexpected crafty gifts....like these gorgeous mini doilies that Karen sent me.......thank you so much........I love them.
I'd done most of my gift buying/making before December.....OH certainly hadn't......so on the 18th we trudged through the snow into town for the last few bits.
But there is one thing about presents that I HATE......wrapping them.......I'm sure as a papercrafter I should be able to wrap beautiful presents......like the ones I so admire when others do them.......like my aunt.....who never had a single piece of sellotape on any of her wrappings.......just beautiful ribbons........but I just don't have the patience or the flair for it......so I was very pleased when it was all done. The page says it all.........even the presents at the bottom are recycled..........not made!!!!!!!

Great pages Jacky! I love getting presents, too. I got some wonderful things this year - a Giants baseball flag, new jammies and gift cards for a craft store.

happy new year jacky
I'm with you re the wrapping, it's just another chore to get through. Bah humbug! This year I made the mistake of using raffia to tie up the gifts- take it from me, don't ever try it!
Those mini doilies are soooo sweet!
I LOVE wrapping and am very reasonable to rent out!!!
Smashing pages too Jacky.
Hmmm - raffia? sounds slippery and tricky to knot.

You're funny, Jacky. :o) Unlike you, I LOVE wrapping presents. Too bad we don't live closer to each other - I'd be happy to help you out next year. xo
I'd be willing to help, too. I love wrapping presents. I can't wait to see what you create with the doilies!
This is one of my favourite pages. I love the humour in it. Lx

Phew, it's all over for another year, Jacky! Unless your year is peppered with birthdays, that is ... Love your fun page, and will be keeping my eyes peeled for those doilies.

I don't mind the wrapping so much but this year I found it harder to buy for everyone - I think there was a distraction in the house ;-) x
Jacky
the doilies are soooo darling...and I love your tag you made. This year we didn't start shopping until December 18th...way to close and spent all that time getting things ready...Next year it will be different...I have VOWED this for 2011! :)
I hope you have a Happy New Year and that 2011 is full of many blessings!
Have fun with those doilies - they are the ones I did the layered decorated doilies with. Love them!
Wow, imagine presents without any sellotape - that would be amazing to see. I'm not great at wrapping - my family thinks its funny that its the wrong kind of papercrafting!
Ooh, love those doilies! Yum!
I'm not keen on wrapping gifts, either - not my favourite part of the season...
The doilies are very cute Jacky! I like your pages too, the little presents are so sweet :)
