The music needs to stop.....

I have very mixed feelings about christmas music.......I hate how early the shops start playing it nowadays........I mean.....who wants 'it's chriiiiiiiistmas' as the soundtrack to buying their veg in October!!!!!
But come December I love hearing it as I potter round the festive shops picking up bits for christmas.
We never play it at home til our decorations are up in mid December......but when I was baking last week I had my christmas CD on repeat all day.......much to the DD's annoyance.....though even they were singing along from time to time.
We play it on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.........but as far as I'm concerned.......it then needs to stop.......consigned once more to the 'christmas box'......and banished to the roof until next christmas!!!!!

I love Christmas music, but I do agree it starts a bit early. I'm happy to have it around during the month of December, but then I'm ready to put it away for another year.

I'm with you on the Christmas music, 100%. Love, love, love it during December. And I REALLY love it when I'm shopping or baking - gotta' have it on. But when Christmas is over, so is the music for me!

For me, Christmas music can start the day after Thanksgiving. And can play until New Year's Eve. That's my "Christmas Season". New Year's Day is time to pack it all away!

I agree the music starts too early and I agree that in-store "muzak" should stop shortly after Christmas - I'm with Cheri in that all things Christmas-y cease on January 1st and my tree/lights/dex normally come down then too. Bah Humbug till next December!

Another fab journal layout from you, Jacky

Hi jacky....
I have to say I got a bit fed up with having the christmas cd playing on every car trip...(hubby's car)and after the 25th most of my christmas spirit is gone! Enjoyed it most when we were doing things at school..it was playing all the time then.
I am looking forward to clearing everything away now!

I wish I could find my Christmas music CD! Really fancied listening to it earlier in the month.. but then again, having Absolute Radio on for one day 'cured' me.. if I hear 'well I wish it could be Christmas every daaaaaay' one more time.... grrr!! Enough!
Love your page :o)

Oh, I love my Christmas music. From Halloween until Dec. 26th the only radio station I listen to is Christmas music, and then thank goodness for Youtube so I can hear my music the rest of the year. Love it, can't get enough, I swear my hubby will play it at my funeral! lol

I love having it on when I'm wrapping and addressing Christmas cards. I really enjoyed the Pandora app for my ipad, which played a huge range of Christmas music.

And plainly the Christmas spirit has GONE from the Sizzix web site too - great sale prices but their P&P (as you quite rightly said) is TERRIBLE!
I love Christmas music but am done with it by now.
HAPPY NEW YEAR peeps

I love carols best of all - especially when we are all belting them out at a school carol service. Makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time.

Pretty page, but I'm one of those goofballs who will listen to Christmas music in July. It's happy, fluffy, feel good music to me. :)

I love, love, love Christmas music but I totally agree Jacky. I'm a little bored of it by the time Christmas is over :)
