Pass the Book

I'm part of Sian's 'pass the book' fun.......and was lucky enough to receive this book from Amy.......though  slower than usual to start reading it......as it arrived during my eye problem.....but I've now finished it.....and ready to pass it on.
'Still Missing' is about a young boy who vanishes on his way to school.......but it isn't actually about the boy........it's about the adults, especially his mother......and how they react/behave/cope in the following months.
The book did draw me in.........I was interested in how the relationships developed.......and often deteriorated.......I was interested in what would happen next.......it was full of twists and bends and u-turns......and,as a parent, it addresses your darkest fear......how many of us have felt that brief, heart stopping terror when for a few minutes we 'lose' one of our children.
And....to me at least....the ending came as a slight surprise.......but if you want to find out what happens.......you'll need to leave a comment under this post......and the book could  soon be on it's way to you........I'll randomly draw a 'winner' next Monday.
If you'd like to know more about joining in with 'pass the book'.....have a look at Sian's post here.

What an interesting idea for pass the book. It's been such a long time since I read a book that I can't remember when that was!

This sounds interesting Jacky my kind of book. I think it could of been written about a lady I knew in the 1980's not a nice story I am afraid. She said by to her son in the morning and never saw him again. All they found was his bike, he was only 10 years old.I am sorry if I have upset anyone with this I just thought the book was so apt for her situation.
