I may need one of these

I may be in need of a baby card very, very soon.......and I'd hate to have to buy one!
Another lovely LOTV stamp.......layered to a great height!!.........and lots of spots for their challenge this week........I love the little crochet flower that was in the blog candy I got from Kath.......and when I've learned to crochet........that's what I want to be able to make!!
I can't believe this....I went into Debenhams today.......and they have all their xmas stuff out.....now I love xmas.....and making crafty bits for xmas all year....but I HATE seeing xmas stock in the shops before November.....the kids aren't even back at school yet.....how can they possibly justify it??!!

It's a beautiful card that any new parent would be thrilled to receive - is this for your imminent grand child?

Selfridges apparently had their Christmas department open before the middle of August (not that I've seen it though - waaay too early), Costco have their Christmas stock in too. I'm with you, November's plenty early enough.

KathyK - bah humbug!!!

Is that a card from a proud Gran, then?

You know I love Christmas, but that is a step too far even for me. Mind you M&S had their back to school stuff out in June before the holidays even started, so nothing surprises me anymore!

I've always wished stores would stock stuff when you actually NEED it! I mean seriously, who buys shorts and bathing suits in January when it is snowing out??? But if you happen to need a new pair of shorts in the heat of August for a trip to the shore what do you find in the department store - winter parkas! I hate having Christmas stuff in the stores before Halloween. One holiday at a time please!

It's an adorable card, Jacky, and I just love that little crocheted flower on it!

I agree with you about Christmas stuff already being in the stores. Here in Arizona the only place I've seen Christmas is in the Hallmark (card) store - they have all their collectible ornaments out. Otherwise, everything is Halloween now!

So cute! I love the crocheted flower and the bling. Are they having a girl then? Or do you need to make one of each?

Adorable card, Jacky! I saw Christmas goodies at Hobby Lobby in July!! Like you, I find it a bit offensive.

Layered to a great height - that made me chuckle.. and wonder how your cards stand up? Do you counterbalance the inside with equal amounts of layering?! Just wondering aloud!

This is such a pretty card, I love the detail your layers give.. and that crochet flower is super-sweet.
