I know you don't want to hear this.......but I always think the months between September and December go the quickest of the year.......one minute the kids go back to school....the next it's Christmas.......and I've got a lot of cards to make!!!! So here's one more done!!
Colour Create want red, white and gold......which is lovely for xmas,I think.......FabnFunky want 'whatever'.......and used the sketch at The Sweet Stop.
The papers, ribbons and stars are all Docrafts......and the little wooden reindeer is from a pack of 12 bought in Tescos last xmas for 99p!!!
And....if like me......you love everything christmassy.......Big Picture Scrapbooking have an online class starting mid October called 'Cut the Crazy out of Christmas'.......sounds fun.
Today I learned
1. When your line manager books a venue for a course.......it is still a good idea to check it out yourself!
2.When you ask your new utility supplier to set your direct debit at an amount that should cover the bill........check they do it......before you get a bill that proves they didn't.
3.It's really nice to see your work colleagues again after a 2 month break.
4.When your bedroom window has condensation on it in the morning.....after months of having none......you can be pretty sure autumn is arriving.
5. I hate wearing socks again....after months without them.
6. When DD1 is offered an interview for a new job at short notice......she is bound to have no suitable clothes......and no money to buy any.
7.It's great to get home from work to an email telling you you've won 2 tickets to The Big Stamp + Scrapbook Show at Alexandra Palace next weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Again, some excellent lessons in there..it certainly is cold enough for socks here today.
Many thanks for the reminder about the photography show :)
Great card and lessons learnt. Congrats on the win and good luck to DD1.
Ah... Did you have to step in and help with the clothes shopping? Hope the interview goes/went well!
I would so love to cut the crazy out of Christmas lol...
Well done on winning those tickets - perhaps it goes some way to dulling the inevitable pain inflicted on having to cough up for DD's interview clothes!!
FAB Christmas card too Jacky, lovely papers as always and that reindeer is just so cute.

Wow Jacky what a stunning card, love the little reindeer and all your fabulous stars!
Gorgeous card, she is so beautiful and I love that little reindeer! Perfect colours. Kim
You are so organised with your cardmaking, putting us all to shame!
Hope the interview goes well, did she have to have any retail therapy with mum footing the bill?
I took "Cut the Crazy" at BPS in 2008. We made a great organizational binder that I have used repeatedly since then - very worthwhile. I highly recommend the course!
Reindeer = awesomeness!

That's stunning Jacky, you can't beat traditional red/golds can you. I have fallen in love with those little reindeers, once again I'm homesick for tesco!
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog today too.

I made 18 Christmas cards during a crafty weekend at my friends place in Wales recently - I can forget about Christmas for a while now!
OMG & I thought I was being a bit previous buying my first Christmas present on August BH Monday! I really don't want to think about it again until after Bonfire night!!

Great card Jackey, I agree this bit does go very fast! After LSNED there will only be one month until Journal Your Christmas!!!!
Ooh nearly forgot, my ballerina bunny pattern is out of 'the Third little sublime handknit book' I brought mine from addicted2knitting.co.uk :)
What an awesome card - thanks for playing along with the Sweet Stop blog
Yep, condensation on our windows as well, and my feet are always cold in the winter--even with socks! I did go to the attic and bring down my Stegman clogs--flip flops in the morning just don't do it anymore. LOVE the card and the embossed gold stars. Congrats on winning the tickets!
Beautiful card, Jacky! I love the ribbon and bargain reindeer especially.. so cute!
Have a brilliant time at Ally Pally on Saturday! London seems SO far away now I'm in Eastbourne.. I guess it's not really that far on the train! :o)
Jacky! Your card is adorable! I love the little cut out reindeer!!!
Thank you for joining the Colour Create Challenge this week!
