My kids are really too old for Easter eggs.....but as DD2 frequently says 'you're never too old for chocolate'.....and, of course, she's perfectly correct........so just a small token choccy treat for the 2 girls......DS would certainly consider himself too old.......and isn't a chocolate lover anyway......is it a girl thing.....hormonal maybe!!??
Bought some mini eggs......and made up a couple of little bags for them.........used 5" square card bags [rarely make that sized card, so they were a bit redundant]........little rabbit stamp cut with, and mounted on, Nesties...........strips of decorative paper stuck onto a folded piece of card.......and then the Nestie layered on top.......quite a cute and inexpensive gift for Easter, I think.
It looks like one bag has more eggs than the other.......it hasn't......I counted them.......as they may do.....yes, even at their ages!!!!
And now off to prepare for our annual Easter tea........14 expected to come this year......lots of baking yesterday........and more today.........but nothing beats a traditional British tea.
Happy Easter to you all.

The bags filled with chocolate candies are adorable. I'm sure the girls will love it. About guys not liking chocolate, I'm not sure about that. My husband is the chocolate eater. I prefer hard candies and licorice.
So pretty! They will love them!
I'm a huge chocolate fan, it's one of the major food groups in my opinion ;-)
Aw, more Easter treats!! (Just seen some over on Cornish Mist) I'm really naughty and haven't made any this year, these are yummy!

Happy Easter Jacky hope you're having a choctastic time with the family. Wonderful bags. Hugs Cherry XXX
These are gorgeous Jacky and it made me laugh about the counting! My boys are still not too old for eggs apparently and they're in their 20s :D! Enjoy the rest of Easter. Chris x
What a cute idea Jacky, these are great.
Very nice. I gave each of my kids a nice handmade card with a $20 bill and some yummy mars bars! Perfect for them at this age.

Adorable way to gift some chocolate...never too old for that! Happy Easter, Jacky!
So cute! This is the first year I haven't done anything individually for Easter--no cards, no candy, no little gifts. I did put out a cute Easter bowl with chocolate Easter eggs. Gotta have those.
Hope your Great Easter tea went well :) We are off on our annual Easter Monaday picnic in the rain..but at least the snow has stopped. Very cute treat bags.
Your little treat bags are so sweet, I'm sure they were greatly appreciated!
Lucky daughters :-) I hope you all had a fab Easter! x
