Alexandra Park-scraplifted

One of my favourite places locally is Alexandra Park.......2 1/2 miles long....it literally cuts the town in two.......laid out in the 1860s.....it had seen better days......not helped by the Great Storm of 1987 bringing down about half its trees........but helped by a large lottery fund grant in 2004.....it has been totally renovated.....and is now returned to its former glory........a truly beautiful park.
Divided in two....the lower half is very narrow fairly formally laid out.....the upper half much wider and wilder.
As part of OH's recuperation we have been walking further and further round the lower park each day.
One of Shimelle's weekend challenges is to scraplift a layout featured on the forum.......I love Deb's 'my blog' LO'.........and have used it as the basis of this Alexandra Park layout.
