Can you scrap watching TV?

Having not wanted to scrap my holiday photos last year.......now I can't stop.....and have almost finished the album.........but Thursday eve is one of the few times I watch TV.....Monty Don's 'Dream Farm' started last night.....and I can't miss 'Silent Witness'........but I can't scrap and watch TV at the same time.......I need to spread out over the whole table.....with card, paper, embellishments, tools everywhere.......and there is no table in our lounge.......and no TV in the dining room/study.
I s'pose I could watch on the computer.......but every other week I craft at a friend's house.......she always has the TV on.......and I've found I actually don't like doing papercrafts......and trying to watch the box at the same time.......I prefer the quiet....or music......to concentrate.
So.....if I'm watching TV.......I do other crafts........sewing, knitting, cross stitch......I'm quite happy doing them....... in fact I hate watching TV without doing something......I can concentrate on them and the TV............but can't with scrapping....strange.

These pages haven't photographed well at all.......but if you are ever in Cornwall Lanhydrock House is a 'must visit'.......a Victorian mansion handed over to the National Trust in the 60's by the last surviving members of the family.........so everything is still 'in situ' even down to letters on desks........a totally fascinating look at Victorian life.
And very different to nearby Newquay..........the UK surf headquarters........but no surf at all when we visited..........we did the whole tourist bit..........even doing a town tour in one of those
land trains!!

Lovely pages :-) Like you, I rarely watch TV without doing something else at the same time - in fact, I'll often read and watch TV at the same time (and yes, I do manage to follow the plot of both book and programme!) I can do some papercrafting in front of the TV, but I'll often scrap in silence - I love having music on while cooking though (you should see me dance around my kitchen while I prepare dinner!!)

It's knitting or sewing for me in front of the tv. I don't really like anyone talking to me while I'm "sticking" let alone have the tv on.

Jacky, I know nothing about photography..I only learnt yesterday what a back button is.If your camera has an AF/AE lock or an AF button you can press it to choose what to lock the focus onto and then move the viewfinder about to compose your picture

Lovely LOs, I can't scrapbook in front of the TV either. I prefer to knit or crochet while watching TV - unless it is a film or something with lots of twists/turns in the plot then I need to concentrate.

Wow - you go girl!!! Look at all those layouts. I can scrap and do art with the TV on, as long as it's not something I really need to concentrate on. My craft table is in the bedroom, and there's a TV there, so it tends to work out.

Lovely pages Jacky, bet they brought back nice memories. Don't like watching tv without something to do either or else I end up nibbling all night lol.

Your layouts are lovely, Jacky, and I totally agree with you about watching TV and scrapping. I also do other things like knitting, cross-stitch, or some other needlework. I like it nice and quiet when I scrap.

Gosh you have been busy! Great LO's again. I can make cards in front of the TV as long as I have the layout and idea all sorted in my head. Just making my 1st ever scrapbook page so not sure if I could do it in front of the tv!
