Journal Your Christmas - Christmas Eve - first ever digital page!

I've used a double page spread for xmas eve........with one page being my first ever digi page........which is probably why I'm not that happy with it.....and felt the need to use red pen to outline!!
Xmas Eve was different for us this year.........14 family members.......went to our local carvery pub for our xmas dinner that evening..........we've never eaten out at xmas before.....but it was different.....and fun.....and the food was good......and very plentiful........and NO clearing up!!!!!!
A few photos on the first page.....and quite a lot of journaling about it being different.

The second [digital] page was done in Serif Scrapbook Artist........which may be why I'm not too keen........it doesn't let you import anything except photos........and although it's very easy to use.......it's also very limiting........if I want to digi scrap.....I've got to learn to use Photoshop Elements..........which is on my computer.....so no excuse!!!!
Got to get ready for our big night out..........new [teenager approved] clothes..........off to a local hostelry...........special 3 course meal.........followed by a live cover band.........and all I have to think about is actually staying awake til past midnight!!! Unlike DD1.......who is off to London to see in the new decade with fireworks, processions etc........and is very excited.
Happy New Year to you all.

Hehehehe .... you are coming over to the dark side for sure! It took me about a year to get the hang of it - longer to feel confident to actually print off a page - you're waaay ahead of me in those stakes already!

Happy New Year Jacky - good luck staying up til 12am - I didn't make it ;-)

Ooh I don't dare try digi scrapping - I might never go back to the traditional way and that would be a shame . . . lovely layouts though Jacky and a Happy New Year to you and your "tribe".
