It's beginning to feel a bit like Christmas

I hate.... seeing shops full of xmas decorations in October......shelves of xmas gifts.....but what a difference a month makes.....come mid November.....chilly weather....dark evenings......and I start to love seeing all the christmassy stuff in shops.....just no christmas songs yet,please.....that's definately a December thing for me.
So I've signed up for Jessica Sprague's free 'Holidays in Hand' online xmas class.......which started yesterday......and our first task was to write some goals for this xmas........so what are my goals?
1. I want to buy less and make more.
2. I want to enjoy the run up to xmas without getting stressed.
3. I want the whole family to enjoy a relaxed and peaceful xmas day together.
4. To avoid excess this year....in food,presents,spending
5. To spend more time together, and less time in the kitchen over xmas.
Are they achievable??????  We'll have to see!!!!!
And a nice, fun, cheery card today.....I buy too many magazines this time of year....bit of an addict with xmas mags.....many of them have freebie papers in them.....but why do they have to be such poor quality.....loved these freebie papers.......but a real problem glueing them cause of the thin, cheap paper....they bubble up......which spoils the effect.....found Tombo stick glue to be the best.....but not perfect.

Anyone for Anya Challenge wants anything 'round' this week.
Anya has been coloured with SU watercolour crayons and blender.........face with copics......papers all mag feebie........fun flock on stocking......Stickles on wings

You've inspired me to make my list for Jessica's class. Great blog! I'm Marg on the forums at Shimelle's class! Congratulations on your award.

Lovely card - but that goes without saying :-)

I signed up for that class too but (as you know) things got sidetracked so I've put it on the back burner for now. I like the look of the prompt cards from today though. Have you done anything with them yet?

Hello,
thanks for visiting my blog and wishing me luck with the craft fair - I only sold a few bits but I had a nice day chatting to other stall holders!
I think your cards are lovely but I'm afraid I find it a bit hard to read your posts as the page seems quite busy and the writing is small - I find it hard to focus on the letters. But this might just be my eyesight or the fact I'm using a netbook, just thought I'd let you know as I don't have trouble with other blogs and it might be making other readers struggle too?
bye x

I buy way too many magazines too! When I was little one of the best bits of Christmas for me was the special Radio Times. Thank you for your lovely comment..I enjoy coming over here too and you might even convert me to cardmaking!

I love your album - the colours match the starkness of the black and white photos splendidly - it's a lovely memento.
Your Anya card (as always) is just lovely and your goals for Christmas are achievable - with an iron will - GOOD LUCK!
