Anyone for Anya with Favourite Things

Can't believe I've already done a card for Anyone for Anya....followed the lovely, simple sketch.....another xmas card....you must be getting sick of seeing them.......but I love making them........and One Stop Craft Challenges wants Celebrations........xmas definately counts as a celebration for me.
Now Daring Cardmakers want you to use at least 5 of your favourite things in the making of your card........so here goes
1.Anya.......along with Tilda these 'tall' Anyas are my fave stamps.
2.Snowflakes.......I just love them....be they real or 'crafty'......and managed to use them twice in this card.....embossed and brads.
3.Brads.......I must have hundreds of them I'm afraid to admit....every shape and size......use them all the time in scrapbooking and pretty often on cards.
4.Blue.......my favourite winter colour......just loving blue xmas cards......and wear a lot of blue in winter....well,probably in summer as well.
5.Layering........my fave technique.....for cardmaking and scrapbooking.
6.Craftwork Cards Candy.....adore these cute little circles....and have them in every colour imaginable.......must stop buying them....have enough to last into the next millenium!!!
So onto the card....Anya has been watercoloured.......she's got fun flock on her 'furry' bits.....and a 'stickled' scarf!
Card is from DCWV Winter Stack.......the white card has been embossed with snowflakes.......and the papers are Forever Friends......Craftwork Cards Joy candy......Dovecraft brads.......sentiment is from Stamposaurus.
Have been to McArthur Glen Outlet at Ashford today........needed card for my next Memory Album course......and their Pick n Mix boxes are such great value.......they also have a great assortment of colours at the moment........but not a lot else of interest...........probably just as well.........as the NEC is looming.........and our dishwasher has died......not a major disaster in the scheme of things.........but oh how we quickly get used to relying on these 'gadgets'........'Aren't you going to buy a new one this weekend said DD1.........'No,you can remember how to wash up' said I........she is not impressed!!!

Brrrr...I can feel the icy wind blowing from here. Lovely christmas card! The embossing is a nice touch and those little balls are great...just like snowballs!
Love your response to your daughter over the 'Dishwasher Dilemma'. My daughter has had a few harsh lessons recently as I have been making her put her dirty dishes in the sink and hoover and polish her mirrors and windowsills in her bedroom...She has been doing the school lunchboxes in the morning as well.
