Magnolia Mother's Day card

Just couldn't wait to use my new stamps and as The Magnolia vs Stampavie challenge this week is to make a Mother's Day card, I couldn't think of a more apt challenge site to christen one of them on.
The cute Tilda image has been watercoloured.... papers are Basic Grey....the card is DCWV....the lace strip is Tesco [of all places!!] and the flowers were free with this month's Cardmaking and Papercraft mag...sentiment done on the computer.
As usual the greens look brown!!!
A few people have asked about the Magnolia Stamp Club...you can find it on the Magnolia website .....you don't have to join anything...4 times a year [each season] they do a new collection that includes at least 6 figures and 8 extras....this time I got 5 Tildas and 1 Edwin [all gorgeous],a hill for the 'sitting' figures [though I've got to learn how to mask before I can use it!!],a signpost,a ladybird,2 roses, grass stems with butterflies and 3 other butterflies.

It all cost £27.40 including p+p which is pretty good considering one Tilda usually costs between £6 and £7...you just pre-order a collection if you want one...but you don't know what you'll get til it arrives...which is actually quite fun.
I'm so pleased with mine I shall definately do it again.

Hi Jacky. What a great project to start off your Tilda cards. It is lovely and I love that lace border...good ole Tesco!
Masking is fairly easy. If you wanted Tilda sitting on the wall. Stamp Tilda on your card then stamp her again onto a post it note and cut her out and place over the top of your main image. Then stamp the wall in correct position bemeath Tilda but over the top of the post it Tilda.
because you have masked off her legs the wall will appear either side of her but not over her legs.
Hope that helps you!
