December already?? It must be time for Journal Your Christmas

It's December???? Where did October and November go?? Must have been the unseasonable weather here that made it seem like late summer. 10 days ago I wasn't even wearing socks....I've definately got them on now!
So it's time for JYC......or my version of it....a sort of mix of JYC and a December Daily....though not even daily.
This is almost the only time that I prepare the basics of pages in advance.....I do find it easier to actually keep up with it if that preparation is done.
So the front and back covers [excuse blurry photos]
I always aim to make the album with stash I already have

I'm not sure if this will be the right number of pages.....but can add more if needed. The size is 8 x 8.....I tend to stick with this size as I find there's enough room for everything I want to put in.....but the page doesn't take too long to complete. Already to start now.
Are you making a December album?

Its gorgeous and I love how the jyc or dd, has worked for us all. We can choose to do what feels right, and this certainly does :) x

It's a great start! I'm back to an album this year after a year or two of adding it to my Project Life albums.

I was wondering if you were all raring to go! It looks really good and I can't wait to see it fill up. I made a start on mine today..and then the printer ran out of ink..

Well I've finally chosen my format and it's only the 4th, so hopefully I can catch up! You've got a great start!

Looks like you have a good foundational start. I, too, am committed to using my stash, and glad to be using it up. Nice post.

I like all your prep work & I see some of the same paper that I have. The layout second from the end, the left hand side paper with the ornaments I have that sheet & finally I know what I want to do with it - like your idea of cutting it down - scraplifting this idea!

Even though time is flying you seem to be well orgainised with these layouts Jacky. Hope you fill them with lots of great memories from this Christmas.

What a good idea to have all the pages ready, so much easier to keep on top of things once the days get busier and busier.

Preparing in advance like this must be such a great way to ensure a project hits the ground running. You've collected great papers here for your foundation. Looking forward to more :).
