I could look at the view from outside my kitchen for hours.....and I'd certainly rather be looking....than doing....on a muggy day!
the roses are all coming into bloom now
the lupins are enormous......probably due to coming out later than usual
the poppies are in bloom.....a shame they always look so ragged after their blooms fade
the nigella are everywhere
this part of the garden is such a joy....as last year it was almost all just bare earth.
the peas are starting to climb their netting
I really do love the garden in June.

Lovely garden Jacky. My garden is in desperate need of weeding! I planted some lupins last year and I think Hugh has accidentally pulled them up when he was putting my fairy ornament into the garden!However, my foxgloves are looking lovely too.

wow your garden is looking lovely Jacky it is obviously well looked after..... is it South facing?? Ours is North facing and some is very shady so difficult to get things to grow.
Ruth...it's west facing....so most of it gets a fair bit of sun...though some parts are very shady.
Your gardens looks fabulous. Sadly I've not been able to grow Nigella ... I know some say its a weed and will grow anywhere .. But not in our garden lol. And those lupins! Wow
What a beautiful country garden you have Jackie. The best I have managed this year is two pots of plants by the front door.
Your garden is looking lovely Jacky. June is my favourite month in the garden I think - I love our natural flowers such as foxgloves and roses. I bought some pelargoniums. deep red and gorgeous. Last year I had pots of them and they went on and on until late in the summer. Enjoy the sun while it lasts.
I wish summer would come properly too. I feel the british weather has thoroughly let us down this year! I don't have a garden but our student house does have a yard so I feel this is the start of adulthood- onwards and upwards to a proper garden some day!
Oh, Jacky, your garden is SO beautiful! It's just so lush and green compared to ours here in Arizona. It's lovely to see the differences in our plants and flowers - I hope you'll do more garden posts in the future.
Your garden is gorgeous! I'm so envious of your lupines. Mine were coming along nicely for the first time in several years until the deer nipped off all the buds. Sorry to say they took the buds from lots of my perennials. I'm hoping the plants have time to recover before summer ends.

I love seeing people's gardens and rooms. Your flowers are blooming beautifully, the weather is definitely agreeing with them.

Your garden is gorgeous---along with your roses. I really like the lupines---they must not do well here as I don't see them around town. I used to have quite a patch of nigella myself, but somehow, it has disappeared! I'd love to have a stroll through with you!
