Jennifer's first prompt this week was all about using colour contrasts......I decided to go with a colour I rarely use......I never wear yellow.....the conservatory is the only room in the house with any yellow in it......I hardly ever use it when scrapbooking.....and yet sunflowers are my favourite flowers.....work that out!!!
But I couldn't cope with using too much yellow......I used green as the main colour......with some hot pink thrown in as a complimentary colour.....surprisingly.....I think they do all work together.
These are Little A's favourite toys at our house.....they were the first ones to be added to the toy basket when she was a few months old.....and they are the one toy always played with when she comes round.Bigger A "What are you building?"
Little A "I not building. I making cakes"
Said with the slight annoyance of a child who can't see why it's not completely obvious to everyone else what she's doing!!!!!
I clustered a few embellishments at the bottom.......and have decided I do quite like washi tape after all.
Today is the hottest day of the year so far....I just hope it's not the hottest. day. of. the. year.

What a lovely colour combination and I really love washi tamp and it features on almost every project at the moment.
Your layout rocks with those colours and those perfect images of little "A" too

The layout is great - little A is adorable!
To be fair she had a point to make lol. I really like the colour combo :)
The colours work really well, and I love the story behind the layout.
That is a great story to record! I often think if little ones knew the word, they would probably say "Duh!!" to most things adults say to them! Your pinks and yellows are really fresh and pretty together.
It's a perfect color combination!

Why is it adults can never see what a child sees?! We clearly miss out.
I like yellow. My children's bedroom was a lovely yellow when they were babies. It looks good on your page.
Well yes, they do look like elaborate celebration or wedding cakes ... of course!
The yellow/pink/green combo works really well Jacky. :)
Lovely colour combination - really like the buttons at the bottom.
Lovely! I wonder is she pretending to be a cookery lady on tv? I can remember doing that..doing a running commentary as I stirred wet sand into dry sand.
The colour combo really works, Jacky...I can just hear Little A's disgust!

Pink, yellow, and green are a great combo, and Little A is adorable as always!
I love the way the yellow pops and I could hear her "tone" as I read her words lol
Love the touches of yellow in your layout, especially the yellow buttons! Little A is so adorable, and the quote reminds me of the things my own little granddaughter says :)
