Last week there were signs of Spring everywhere in the garden.....it was perfect gardening weather.....I was out there cutting back hydrangeas and clematis and perenials.....so this was not a welcome sight today.
For heavens sake....it's the middle of March.....I do not want to see this amount of snow.
actually I don't want to see any snow at all!!
and neither do my tulips.....or there WERE tulips happily growing in this pot yesterday.
"sigh"
edited at 8pm......we now have a blizzard......."double sigh"

wow you have had a lot of snow Jacky!
we have had a few flurried but nothing has settled. Hope the tulips are ok xxx
But your garden looks so very pretty, Jacky!
You're right though, we should be thinking daffodils not snowshoes!!!
Stay safe in the slippy weather

It's crazy isn't it?! I was walking across town today in gale force winds and swirling snow.
Looks like you've had more snow this time round than us Jacky. My chilblains are back too - not fun! xx
Ugh. Not so bad round our way. But it is COLD
Even I've had enough, and normally I'm all for snow, but I've just had enough of winter now.
Wow really!!! yes you would think Winter would be over by now. Hubby is going over to London next Sunday so he is really hoping the weather would be nicer by then.
Aw, no! sorry about the tulips. It's cold here, but nothing like that. It does look nice, though..
Flip me Jacky, that is a lot of snow for March. We are sitting at 0 degree at the minute but no snow.
we have some flurry's today and yesterday! you seem to have an awful lot - hope those tulips survive.
If it makes you feel any better, the snow will not harm the plants that haven't started to emerge yet. It will just keep them insulated.
Brrr shiver,shiver.....you can keep that snow to yourself!!! Hope it vanishes soon. Stay warm and keep safe.xxx
Oh my goodness thats more than a sprinkling:(
we had a little snow & TBH that was enough for me.
Stay warm x
Oh my goodness! That is a CRAZY amount of snow, Jacky! Fingers cross that it is in the process of MELTING as I type...
PS: See you soon! :o)
Like everyone else has said, you've definitely had more than me! Hope it clears soon and the garden is OK x
You've had more than me too, but it is coming down fast and furious at the moment so I hope I don't wake up to a scene like yours!
Right with you there, Jacky! Argh! crazy weather. It is minus 5 here . You have my sympathies!
I feel your pain, really I do. I know I am at the opposite spectrum right now, but extremes at this time of the year are just crazy if you ask me.
We are exhausted!
May I make particular comment on how clear your photos are?! ;-)
Wow that's a lot of snow. It's so horrible when you see new growth in the garden and the weather spoils it all!
Wow, you got loads! WE had quite a few 5 minute blizzards, with the wind whipping it round so fast I could barely get to the bins at the bottom of my tiny garden, but it didnt stick at all.
Wow, you did get a lot of snow ... we had a dusting but nowhere near that much ... but still mad for March!! Bring back Spring ... & fast ...!! x
Last Tuesday I sat in sunshine on a bench at the riverside with no coat eating an ice cream!! Today, same spot, it was like the Arctic!! But...we haven't had the volume of snow you have!! Hope it's soon gone & your tulips survive!! :D
These are beautiful.
