A weather update!

It seems the south east was the only part of the country severely hit by snow yesterday....apparently the French are to blame....in future they may like to keep their weather....and just send us the wine!!
This was my potting table yesterday afternoon.
and this is it this morning
We are not used to blizzard conditions......our snow usually falls fairly straight.......it doesn't cover windows.
or put hats on outside lights!!
Anyone for a BBQ??
Maybe not......but the good news is....it appears to have stopped......the schools are all closed [again!]......and so I can spend the day crafting.

Goodness! It looks just like Rochester. We still have piles of dirty snow left from the last storm, but it was warm enough for two days that the pavement is finally cleared off.

Golly, you have more than we do! That's got to be a first :). Glad you could make such good use of the time and weren't pining for the classroom!

We had snow but nothing like that! Oh my word

no snow settled here at all! It is strange when we are not too far apart. One of the doctors I know spent 13.5 hours travelling from Surrey to Brighton yesterday...awful! Hope you enjoyed your crafting xxx

Don't the Brits always blame the French?!

I know that weather is unpleasant, but, it does make for pretty photos ... unlike the dried out brownish colours down here right now.

Hope you had a cosy crafting day! I love the snow, but not when it should be Spring!! My neice got married at Easter (many years ago now!!) it was April 2nd & we had snow on the way to the reception, so this is not a new experience...but enough is enough!! :D
