Has Easter arrived?

Well....judging by the weather in the UK it seems more likely Christmas is about to arrive!!
My 'one little word' this year is 'finish'.....and one of the [many] things I wanted to finish was our vegetable patch.....this aim must have rubbed off onto OH......because this week he bought a rotavator on Ebay....collected it on his way home last night.....and today [in the sleet] he and my BIL transformed
this
into this!!
It's a larger area than it looks in the photo.......now we just need Spring to arrive.
Meanwhile I've been busy preparing for our annual family Easter tea tomorrow......with 16 family members expected.....there's plenty to do
chocolate cupcakes [still to be iced]
semolina biscuits [still to be iced]
 rice krispie cake
 Mel's famous malteser cake
 lemon and poppy seed muffins
There's still plenty more to be done......and we're out for dinner at a friend's tonight.....so while OH is now asleep watching TV.......I need to get on.
Have a Happy Easter.....and if you're in the UK......don't forget to change your clocks.

Paul just put our vegetable garden in yesterday. I'm working on finishing a few things this weekend, as we have no real plans.
Happy Easter!

Everything looks so yummy, especially those lemon/poppyseed muffins. We had to give up on our vegetable garden as where it was pretty well is now shade all day, although there are some survivors from it - namely the chives and oregano.

Oh My!! I wish I had been at yours for Easter tea!! I'm in awe of the work achieved in sleet & sub zero temps!! I'm a fair weather gardener myself & although the lawn had its first cut yesterday it'll need to be warmer/drier before the borders/climbers get the attention they need from me!! :D Happy Easter!
