When I started knitting I kept it all in a carrier bag......neither pretty nor practical........so I bought a thick grey........stand up on its own........felt bag from my local sewing shop........at £2.99 it was cheaper than making one.......but as you can see it looked pretty bare and boring.
Then I saw a lovely felt flower on Mel's blog......and commented that I needed to make one for my knitting bag.......Mel immediately offered to send me one as my PIF gift.......and she did....and it was gorgeous.....and a perfect colour.
But it looked sad and lonely all by itself on the bag...........so I made some more felt 'bits' to keep it company.
And now I have a lovely knitting bag. Thank you,Mel.
