A touch of autumn colours

Totally the wrong colours for this time of year......especially as today Spring finally seems to have arrived......a beautifully warm, sunny day at last.......but I did want to try out spraying........and I love these green and burnt orange colours......so a bit of an autumn feel to this canvas.
The backgound paper, some of the leaves and the bird are all from one piece of Graphic 45 paper
Lots of stamping with leaves and script stamps.......more spraying......and just a little paint added.
The girl's dress is Cosmo Cricket distressed and painted to tone it down.......though I couldn't resist a few gems as usual!!
And the final touch.......some rub ons.....and butterfly stickers.
We've a lot of birthdays in our extended family this month........so I think I better stop making canvases.....and start making some cards!!

Oh and (sadly) you were mistaken with your comment on my blog - no actual crafting took place with Wynneth this afternoon (not enough time) ..... but plenty of chatting about it!!!!

I'll happily look at Autumnal colours any time of the year :) Again, I love this Jacky - seems to me you could be teaching a class on this style yourself!

It's lovely once again, Jacky! And I think the colours are fresh and pretty enough to work for Spring, too :-)

Love her little dress and all the butterflies, the warm colours are perfect for me today, cold, lashing rain and threat of snow! So I have enjoyed these lovely warm colours.

I love this too - especially the way the bird is just lifting off and out of the frame. You are clearly taking yourself off to new worlds too, and your work is just lovely to look at ...

Another fabulous canvas Jacky,
And a huge thank you for my birthday card. I will definitely treasure it, as I treasure our friendship. It would be great to try and meet up this summer.

Such lovely colours Jacky, and I think we can see a little bit of springtime in that green, like the green shoots coming up in the garden. You are certainly inspired by this new type of crafting!

Another fabulous piece of work, Jacky. I can't imagine the hours you've put into these, but they are worth every minute. I'd love to see them all hung together.
