Using up freebies

If you buy papercraft magazines.....how often do you use the free papers which a lot of them have inside?
I too often pop them into a box and forget about them.....of course, some I just don't personally like and they get used in my classes.....and some aren't good quality paper and get used by the littlies.....but too many just get left.....while I'm paying to buy more paper pads.
So I'm on a mission to use some of them!!
I was asked to make some male cards......and remembered a set of 5 double sided papers that had been specifically put in a magazine to make Father's Day cards......so perfect for anything masculine.
They also came with a sentiment sheet....most weren't appropriate as they were for Father's Day....but I did manage to use one of them
The only thing I've added.....apart from some plain card......is the fish on the last card....and some blue candi.
A pretty economic set of cards.....now to dig out some more.

Brilliant Jacky, great way to use up all those scraps of paper. I don't generally buy paper crafting magazines anymore, but I remember having a huge surplus of paper when I did buy them! Most of my free paper packs ended up being used for the kids in my classroom - I only wish I'd been as creative as you in using them! Well done X

I have a few of these sitting around too, somewhere - cards is a great place to use them. You have really made the colours work together with your pretty stamping - I think any male would be delighted with one of these.

I avoid mags with free papers Jacky mainly, because like you, I store them away and never use them. Your card is a wee stunner though, love the shades of blue.

Great set of cards. I donate some of those papers that I know I won't use and I have been using the others in an 8x8 album that a friend and I have each been making, scrapping the same photo but in our own way - I find those papers perfect for the job!
