Today....in my garden

I've just returned from a week in the sun.....relaxing, swimming, drinking too many cocktails......and can't believe how much the garden plants have grown in one week!!
the roses are mingling with the nigella and geraniums
the climbing rose flowering and clambering wildly
the lupin flowers starting to change colour
 poppies coming into extravagant flowering
the fuchsia covered in little buds
the clematis scrambling over the shed
the geums falling over under the mass of flowers
the rambling rose covering the arbour with flowers
the yellow rose covered with the most beautifully scented blooms
the white geranium romping away as the lavender just starts shooting
and the edible garden is coming along too
the salad leaves just coming through
the radishes should be ready soon
a few flowers on the tomato plants
the courgettes just getting going
 the cherries plumping up
the plums just starting to change colour
and lots of raspberries
An English garden in June.....I love it.

I love it too! Thanks so much for sharing. Our first zucchini are just about ready to harvest, and the tomatoes are green but huge (we rarely get enough sun to grow large tomatoes). Our plums look just like yours.
I need to weed before I could do a garden post, though!

Oh my gosh, Jacky, everything looks so beautiful! Things in my garden are still looking good, but we have a heat advisory for this week with temps expected in excess of 109f (43c). The heat will definitely take its toll.

No sunflowers yet? I suppose they are later in the year for you? Mine are standing tall and I'm expecting some blooms in the next week. :o)

Glad you made it home safely from your time away. Sounds like you had a great time!

What a wonderful sight... I love growing fruit and vegetables but sadly have not done any this year. I hope you had a lovely holiday.

The weather this year has been perfect for gardens hasn't it? Your pictures look great. I think there could be a bumper harvest of raspberries this year!

I always really enjoy seeing photos of your garden Jacky - regardless of the season! We rarely have such vivid greens down here and it is a pleasure to see things blooming for you!

It's an absolute credit to you Jacky. Gorgeous. I know it takes time to post lots of pictures and I'm glad you did it so we could get a real flavour of everything there is to see

Stunning! The deer ate both my lupines last year. I just put a new one in this weekend. Tracy sprayed it and I'm hoping the deer leave it alone this year. Lots of my perennials hit the dust this winter--way too cold, I think, so I had to buy quite a few new ones to replace them.

Oh my goodness, this is like a show garden at a flower show! Wonderful lushness ... I envy you those lupins, as the slugs always seem to devour ours. And your rambling rose is so cheerful :).
