Refresh your Craft and Soul blog hop

Welcome....welcome....today I'm taking part in Jennifer's 'Refresh your Craft and Soul' blog hop which is part of her weekend extravaganza......and if you comment on all the blog hop posts finishing at Jennifer's blog......you'll be in with the chance of winning a great craft prize featuring Glitz and MME products worth over £25!!!!
One of Jennifer's themes is water.....including the sea......and as a coastal dweller....I love the sea.....it certainly refreshes my soul....so making a project for the blog hop gave me the perfect opportunity to 'cut into' my Graphic 45 'By the Sea' paper pad....I spend far too long drooling over anything by Graphic 45.....and it was time to stop stroking it and start using it!!!!
I just couldn't stop layering the papers and card.....and as well as the paper pad I used lots of sea themed elements I had cut out from remnants of scrapbook papers.....some of these are stuck directly onto the papers.....but quite a few of them are raised on foam squares.
I love the fact that a big American company has used images from England.....I live a few miles from Eastbourne....and have frequently visited Beachy Head.....so I couldn't resist using this image.
And once I'd cut into the pad....I couldn't stop making cards with it!! All of them have been made in a similar way with lots of layering and raising.
Everything in Graphic 45 pads co-ordinates......and yet the colours allow you to get a totally different feel by using different papers. They have quite a 3D feel to them.
The beach rules are just perfect.....walking on the beach gathering shells is a favourite activity of mine.
Three's enough for today,I think......you have plenty more blogs to explore.....the next one up is Katherine who I'm sure will have something wonderful for you.....and if you haven't come here via the blog hop do pop over to Jennifer to get the whole list.
Everyone who leaves a comment here will be entered into a draw to win one of my cards.....which one would you like?

All the cards are gorgeous Jacky, and definitely have a 3D look, even on the computer, but I'm partial to that beach rules one! :)

Now, I'm not usually a fan of Graphic 45 papers but I do like what you've done here ... classic colours and images!! Fab cards - I love them all! xx

Lovely layering. They are very rich and sumptuous cards...but I love the 'skilled sailor' one as I have a friend married to a sailor and it would be perfect for a gift for his 70th birthday.

These are so gorgeous Jacky! I really love the 'Beach Rules' card, the rules are so perfect and exactly what I do when at the beach - though I don't get much chance to nap with the kids around! I like how you've added all the cut out beach shapes to these, especially how some are popped up on dots. Thank you so much for joining in with my Blog Hop! x

These are absolutely gorgeous Jacky and that's a very nice looking prize. It's funny, I'd never heard of Eastbourne before but John's sister and her husband just moved there. I hope when we're in London in the fall we can pop down and see it.

Gorgeous cards! Such a stunning G45 line and you did great things with it! I love all 3 of them but if I had to choose, I'd say like the 2nd, the one with the postage stamps on it.
