A little bird told me.....

We have our pre-Easter meeting at my local W.I. tonight.......there's lots of activities going on at the meeting.......and there's a contest to bring along a decorated egg.....I thought I'd have a go.....but sort of steered away from too much of an Easter theme.
I rather like him.
I had a lovely day at the Hobbycrafts Exhibition on Saturday......there was far more variety of sellers this year.....some delightful exhibitions of quilts, embroideries, knitting and more......
 an amazing knitted '4 seasons'
and some equally amazing clothes.
And I was so pleased to have a brief meet up with my bloggy friend Sandie.
I didn't actually buy much [that is a good thing]......some fabric [top secret]......beads.....a knitting pattern....2 paper pads......and I did succumb to one stamp. All in all.....a good day....even the trains were on time!

Your little bird is adorable Jacky! So glad you had a good time at the show. I was lucky last week to JUST make the early train home from the city after a day of seminars. Love it when the Universe makes that happen for me!

Love the bird Jacky! I was a member of our village WI for years. I used to love the competitions and challenges.
I really enjoyed Excel and so much of it was good to see especially the knitting, fabrics, and handmade books. Hope you had a good time too and it was lovely to see you there even if it was just briefly.

The bird in the basket is awesome! I love everything about it. That sounds like an interesting show; I don't think there's anything here quite like that.
