Yarn bombing in Cadiz

Shimelle's third video in 'Return to the Collection' used one photo......I rarely use one photo on a page....especially in a vacation album where I have so many photos to scrap!!
But I had 2 photos that go together [though not unless you know the story!]....and could both be cut down.....so I decided to put them together almost like one photo.
The photo is 'high central' with a border underneath.....Shimelle made her own embellishment for the centre of the border......I decided to use mine for journaling....and the title and embellishment come out from the top left and bottom right of the photo.
I bought the chevron punch awhile ago from Stampin Up.....why has it just been sitting in a box??.....I love it.....and all the little arrow offcuts are brilliant as well......I can see me using this loads.
And the story.....we sat down for a coffee in a pretty square in central Cadiz.......as we were working out how to actually drink the coffee.......why do they put a boiling drink in a glass with no handle [is it just us that finds that totally weird]....I finished admiring the lycra clad policemen on bikes.......and glanced around and saw the yarn bombing on a lamp post.....somehow it was just completely unexpected......I loved it.
I think I'm just about getting used to having almost no plain card on a layout as well!!

I like this design with everything flowing diagonal across the page. I've done one similar layout but am inspired to try it again after seeing yours.

I have that SU punch, too, and love how you can use the border & the little pieces.

Great use of embellishments. This seems very different from a typical Jacky page, but I love it. This class seems to be really inspiring for you.

Such a fun story and a great layout to go with it. Funny about them serving a super hot drink in a glass with no handle. ??? You almost needed a yarn bombing around the glass!

I love this layout, the colours all work so well together! (I might have to see if I can get that punch here!)

Yarn bombing is very popular here, in fact the town where Chloe lives has an annual festival dedicated to yarn bombing!

That does look difficult to drink I agree. I've never seen yarn bombing but would be so excited if I did. I love anything like that!

Great layout, i love the patterns and colors and the arrow. They yarn bombed a couple of blocks on a downtown street a few weeks ago. I need to get down there before it's removed next week.

Your background paper is a great match for that yarn bombing - first time I have heard this term!
