The photos were matted onto a layered rectangle which works really well.....Shimelle drew round her rectangle.....removed it......and then stamped round where it was going to go....I love that idea and will definately try it.....but felt these papers were too dark for any stamping to show up.
The title and embellishments were put above and to the right of the photos to balance out the page....I'm sure I'll use this page design again.
This guy made such a cool statue that when we first walked by him we didn't actually realise it was a person!! And he didn't move a muscle until there was money in his box!!

How fun! And a great layout as a result.
Some of those street theatre guys are amazing, aren't they? Your page looks marvellous and I may have to give that two photo idea a try.
This has turned out really well :) I have done my layout for this prompt too - I did do the stamping, hated it and promptly covered it up! Oh well, we live and learn!
I loved Barcelona and hope to go back one day. It looks like you had a great time and I love the colours of your layout
You're very brave getting that close to him! I think they are very clever, but they do scare me a little. It's a brilliant subject for a page and I love that Barcelona blue you have used
I really want to start on some Shimelle pages... I have watched the first 2 videos and taken notes so ready to go! Love your version of the page it is bright and fun and the orange sign 'I was here ' made me laugh!
Love your page Jackie - I was chased through Covent Garden by one of those mime people - it was horrible!
great photo and I love the layout X
Such fun patterns in those papers. Lovely photo and layout Jacky.
I like this a lot, but am trying to visualize exactly what Shimelle did with the stamps and can't quite do it!. Great photos!
Great layout and story! I remember seeing mime artists in Montmarte frightening people when they suddenly moved!

Love the layout and also your description of the John Lennon statue. Such a fun way to remember a cool experience!
When Carrie and I were in London there were a few of these types of "statues" at Covent Garden. It's amazing how STILL they can stand for the longest amounts of time!
I like the design & the blues in the layout! When we went to see the Statue of Liberty, there were some of these mimers (whatever you call them) there, too.
I love this layout!
Great colors and photos, and perfect pops of colors in the embellies.

Great colours for the page - and what a fab "statue" too.
