A bit more gingerbread

In my last post I showed a card I'd made for one of Jennifer's challenges using some gingerbread papers and embellishments that came 'free' with a magazine......there was quite a lot in the pack.....it seemed a shame not to use them up.......and I've ended up being able to make 4 more cards......not bad for a freebie pack.
there's a lot of layering of papers and chipboard on them all
there's not so much in the way of Stickles with these ones, though they're still fairly glittery
I love all the different styles of houses that there were in the pack
After seeing all these......DD1 has announced that we definately have to make gingerbread this Christmas.......she is not working this Christmas Eve for the first time in years.....and has not only declared that it is to be a baking day.......but has already been looking though recipe books deciding what we will be baking......please note the 'we'!!

I used to have all the cutters to make not only a house but a stable and reindeer plus sleigh. We did that for a couple of years when the kids were little. Thanks for reminding me :)

Those cards are lovely - what a nice freebie!

Don't you love the royal 'we'? I am guilty of doing that with my mum too ... especially with sewing projects, though, it is a bit like the blind leading the blind there!

And these cards are just as adorable as the last! All for free---amazing! Gingerbread cookies are favorites here. I make several dozen but I've never made a gingerbread house.

We love making gingerbread houses. It's so much fun for all ages. These really show a great combination of pp of different scales.

I used the same kits for mine. The basis was photos of my kids dressed up and I used the stickets and chipboard to finish off. Got 15 cards out of that kit

More cute cards! I'm personally not a fan of gingerbread but do hope the royal "we" enjoy their baking day!

I can almost smell the gingerbread from here! We found a readymade gingerbread dough in IKEA..don't know what it's like yet though. It's in the fridge and we keep looking at it and saying - better make that before it goes off!

I love gingerbread :D This year on the Great Irish Bake Off (the Irish version of GBBO), one of the contestants made a giant gingerbread castle for his final showstopper, it was amazing! I really want to make a gingerbread house for Christmas this year too x

Love all the cards and am so impressed that a freebie contained that much "stuff". You'll need more to do the layout of ya'lls baking day ;)
