This week...

This week I am excitedly sorting and ironing and packing and checking and double checking and panicking.
This week I am making a travel journal using a little travel file I picked up at a boot sale for 50p as the basis for it.
This week we are eating courgette cake......my second attempt was a vast improvement on the first.....I think that this recipe using oil.....rather than butter.....made all the difference.
This week I'm enjoying such an assortment of sunflowers....I sowed a mixed pack of seeds this year.....and am so glad I did.....if you look closely you can see I'm not the only one enjoying them.
This week I'm searching for any gaps in the garden boundary [however small] as Stella has suddenly decided to have a new career as Houdini!!
This week my brother and niece are coming down for the day......which means a visit to our local Chinese buffet....and a trawl round the charity shops......their favourite things to do once they've spent some time on the beach.
This week I'm meeting 3 friends for coffee tomorrow morning.
This week I'm looking forward to a manicure.
Sounds like another busy week......hope you enjoy yours.

I love those Sunflowers.

Your sunflowers are beautiful - lovely to see different shades to the usual yellow. The travel journal sounds fun - where are you off to?

In answer to the 'where are you going' questions....we're off on a European cruise.

There are so many interesting things in this post. First off, where are you going? Your sunflowers are gorgeous. And the cake looks scrumptious---even if I don't know what courgettes are.

Haha - I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't know what "courgettes" were. I had to Google the term the last time you mentioned them (zucchini here in the US). Your sunflowers are beautiful, Jacky! I know how happy those make you, so I'm happy for you! :o) Really cool shot with the bee too!

Have a safe and happy trip!

Sounds like the best kind of week Jacky. Those sunflowers are incredible. I don't think I've ever seen one so brightly coloured red.

This week I'm hoping to get back to blog reading and commenting. An injured leg and stomach virus sidelined me a bit I'm afraid! I enjoyed catching up today - your creative energy seems way up, as do the rest of your life activities, as your injury heals.
Lots of hugs,
Rinda
