The Summer of Color - sage and sepia

Sadly this is the last week of the Colour of Summer challenge.....I'm not sure that I think of sage and sepia as summer colours......but I do really like them together.......though I couldn't find anything in my stash that was truly sage coloured so the greens are slightly off.
I decided on another set of bookmarks........collaged this time
I used some old book papers.......paper dolls......dried flowers.....and the occasional gem.
But having finished them.....and laid them out to photograph......I'm thinking that layered up together on some background papers and added embellishments......they might make an interesting piece of 'wall art'.....so they may not stay as book marks for very long!!
I've really enjoyed joining in these challenges......and being inspired by some of the wonderful artwork that has been produced by everyone taking part.

I agree with you--these three look great grouped together. I think you should mount them and display them somehow. Beautiful work!

When I first saw them, I thought the bookmarks were a collage for an art journal page. I'd definitely hang them together! I love the paper dolls.

This has been one of my favourite colour combinations in the series. I can see why you'd like to adapt the bookmarks as they are lovely.

They would look great hung together on a wall....looks like that's what they were made for!

:) They didn't scream summer to me either, though I did enjoy being pushed out of my comfort zone.

The bookmarks are gorgeous.
