Easter Tea - and a day out.

Easter Sunday is the one day of the year we have a 'proper' tea [like the ones I had as a child]......with sandwiches......and scones......and fruitbread.....and cakes of all descriptions.....many of them decorated with mini eggs,of course.
All the family partake......this year 15 of us......but I decided a layout with the food taking centre stage might be nice to make for posterity......so put together a collage in Picasa.
That spotty paper has been in my stash FOREVER......how nice to finally use it......or some of it at least.
Tomorrow [Saturday] I'm off to London with a group of 'crafty' friends.....to the Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts Exhibition at Excel.......a new venue for this exhibition....it's never been in London before......and as I've been a bit creatively uninspired recently......I'm hoping for some inspiration....as well as a fun day out.
Anyone else going??

Oooh I so love Picassa for making collages, it's so simple to do. Always a bonus. Have fun tomorrow. I'm going to a local event in 2 weeks,

What a lovely display of Easter food, good enough to eat!
I'm not going to Excel this time as I am at Ally Pally in 2 weeks and spent a fortune recently at a stamp show in Herts.
Hope you have a good day out.

Even more cake than a bloggers' craft weekend. I had my weekend in London at Easter, but I'm back there for a conference next week. Enjoy your craft show.

Everything about your tea looks delicious. Have fun at your craft event and maybe you'll come back with some ideas for all of us. I know I've lost my scrapping mojo and would like to give it a kick start.

That food looks amazing! And your layout showcases it perfectly! Have fun at the craft exhibition. I haven't been to one in several years, but I could use the inspiration as well.
